Welcome to Annickdotes, the newsletter for booksellers and librarians from Annick Press. Distributed four times a year, Annickdotes brings you news about our books, awards and honors, author tours and events near you, promotional opportunities for your store, and other fun and useful information.

INTRODUCING THE ANNICK LIVEBRARY

Introducing the Annick LIVEbrary, an exciting, free online classroom for middle and junior high students.

This ground-breaking program begins October 15, and brings together authors, students, and educators as they discuss curriculum-related books in a secure online environment. Designed not only to provide young teens with innovative educational content, the Annick LIVEbrary is also an excellent platform from which to train students in the responsible use of new technology.

The Annick LIVEbrary consists of a series of 5-week programs on curriculum-based subjects including Media Literacy, World History, Science, Health, and Current Events. Each week, under the guidance of a trained facilitator, students will have the opportunity to interact with authors and other experts.
